Verification Policy

Effective Date: May 22, 2026  •  Last Updated: May 22, 2026

Piquora may provide verification flows to help reduce impersonation, improve trust, and protect the platform. This policy explains what verification means and what it does not mean.

1. Verification types

Piquora may offer one or more of the following verification methods:

  • Phone verification
  • Photo or facial verification
  • Moderation-assisted review of submitted materials
  • Account integrity checks and fraud signals
2. What verification means

Verification generally means that a user completed a particular verification flow or that a related trust signal was confirmed at a point in time.

3. What verification does not guarantee
  • It does not guarantee that a user is safe, honest in every representation, or compatible with you.
  • It does not eliminate the possibility of scams, abuse, coercion, or off-platform misconduct.
  • It does not replace your own judgment or safe dating practices.
4. Suspension or revocation

Piquora may deny, suspend, revoke, or limit verification access where we detect fraud risk, policy violations, inconsistent information, abuse, repeat evasion, or other account-integrity concerns.

5. Handling of verification data

Verification-related data may be used for trust and safety, anti-fraud, moderation, account recovery, abuse investigation, and compliance. We restrict access based on role and operational need.

6. Retention

Verification materials and metadata may be retained for a period that reflects safety, fraud prevention, legal, and operational needs. See our Data Retention and Deletion Policy.

7. User responsibilities
  • Provide truthful information during verification flows.
  • Do not submit someone else's identity materials or misleading images.
  • Do not misuse verification status to deceive, harass, or pressure other users.
